Why does my candle have wax left in the bottom, my wick disappeared
into the wax, and extinguished?
This feature is our "safety wick". The
candle will extinguish when it gets near the recommended - do not burn
- level. This is built into our pint sized and larger container
candles. This prevents the bottom of the container from getting to hot
thus breaking a container and burning the surface below. This feature
should not replace cautious use, however we feel it's safety is
welcome. This innovation was caused by personal experience with other
manufacturer's products.

Why is my candle sooting? I thought these where suppose to be clean.
Our soy candles do burn very clean, however the wicks do burn and
create smoke once they past the surface burning zone. To limit the
wicks smoking and sooting - from time to time extinguish the candle
(dipping the wick into the wax will keep it from smoking, upon
extinguishing), allow the candle to cool and harden again, trim the
wicks to 1/4" and relight. We recommend a maximum burn time of 4 hours
between extinguishing and allowing the candle to cool and set.

Why does my candle not seem to fill the room with scent? The following
is from our observation only. We have run into this with tea lights
mostly. Size does matter. The larger the room space the larger the
candle needed. If you are trying to scent a room or a floor, a tea
light may not do it. The larger the molten wax pool the better the
scent throw will be. Tea lights will scent most smaller bathrooms and
bedrooms. Larger rooms will require larger candles or multiple candles
to fill with scent well.

My candle doesn't seem to be lasting as long as I expected, what is
wrong?
If you are burning your candle for extended uninterrupted
periods of time you will shorten the life of your candle. The flame
will get higher and the pool of wax will disappear faster. Try burning
your candle for a maximum of 4 hours at a time. Keep wicks trimmed to
1/4" as well.

Why are there no colors to your candles? There are a few reasons why
we have not added dyes to our standard candle collections. The number
one reason is the fact that we try not to add any more than we have to
to offer the cleanest burn for you and your family. A secondary
benefit some decorators have prefered, is that no matter what scent
you are burning the labeling and candle itself are neutral. A blue
candle does stand out in the warm tone setting of the room.
